This morning while I partook of my usual morning garden walk/coffee consumption I discovered a number of bumblebees "frozen" on the sunflowers. I plopped my lazy butt down in the pumpkins and watched them warm up to flying temperature.
I removed all of the plants from the NW corner of the yard to prepare for the earth massaging/berm n' basin fun. Tonight and tomorrow the remaining arborvitae will come down. I may later chop them into lengths and bury vertically to become edging... or I may just post them for free on craigslist.
Who wants to come over for chainsaw fun?
